Team Raleigh GAC rider and former double World Track Champion, Morgan Kneisky, has been selected as part of the French team for the UCI Track World Championships in Paris. His selection comes on the back of a second place at the Six Days of Bremen where he was partnered by Jesper Morkov. Looking back at the tournament Morgan said: “It was my first time at the Six Days of Bremen. The organisation was very good and the atmosphere was brilliant. The racing was very quick and there was a fight for the whole six days. I really enjoyed it!”

Morgan and Jesper narrowly missed out on the win to Marcel Kalz and Alex Rasmussen but the 27yearold Frenchman said he feels in good shape for the Worlds. Morgan said: “After Christmas and the New Year I didn’t know how I was going to feel on the bike but I knew I was training well. After the first day of racing at Bremen, I was happy because I felt very good on the bike”.

“I feel like I am in a good place physically with less than a month to the World Championships.”

Team Principal of Team Raleigh GAC, Cherie Pridham, said: “Morgan has worked very hard for his place at the Worlds and we are delighted that he has achieved selection. As a former champion in both the Scratch and the Madison, what better way to bid for his 3rd title in Paris!”
