Team managers Dave Evans, Gary Smith and Grant Bayton have a clear focus on how the team needs to progress, it’s all about creating opportunities, providing a platform for younger riders and taking the senior teams to the top echelons of the pro scene.
Grant Bayton says “We have a wealth of knowledge in our senior team and some riders are on the other side of their racing days, however this shouldn’t be over looked as by having these riders that have won; national titles, regional titles, commonwealth games medals, premier calendar and podium winners, in almost all major domestic races in the UK, this gives our youth and newly appointed female team riders the opportunity to learn from this endless pot of knowledge. Learning and gaining such experience is worth way more than a jersey and bit of race kit†(although not to underestimate all these riders have been well supported through the kind support of our sponsors).
The team have a strong ethos in how they conduct themselves on and off the bike, ‘this is important to us as a team’ says Gary Smith. ‘We have several major sponsors that have no direct links to cycling which is rare in the world of cycling, therefore it’s important we endorse and represent these sponsors in a professional manner’.
The team are excited to launch their new women’s race team to complete the full set of riders, this also includes an 11 man Senior Team, 6 Youth Riders and 4 Juniors.
The Senior team took the top ranking spot regionally, won the long standing Cotswold League series as well as many other regional domestic races.
For 2015, the team are looking to achieve the same again and go one better by placing riders in the major domestic races which form part of the Spring Cup and Grand Prix series.
We would like to thank our sponsors for making this possible;

We would also like to thank James Lowsley-Williams for allowing us to use his beautiful family home at “Chavenage House†for our team launch. We wish James all the Luck racing for NFTO for 2015.
