News – Festina Partner Revolution
Lifestyle watch brand FESTINA will be partnering with the Revolution Series for the final two rounds of the 2014/2015 season as the Official Timing Partner.
Festina watches have a distinctly sporty character and the brand has cycling in its DNA. For over 20 years they have been working with some of the top cycling events in the world, including the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the Tour of Spain. As the biggest track cycling series in the UK, the Revolution Series is the ideal platform for FESTINA to reinforce their dominance in elite cycling.
Festina’s UK Marketing Manager, Daniel Ozel, has said: ‘FESTINA Watches are delighted to be involved with Revolution and The Jupiter London Nocturne. FESTINA is synonymous with cycling and the cycling watch of choice. We are looking forward to supporting them in both London and Manchester. FESTINA is the official timekeeper for all of the Grand Tours as well as The Tour of Britain, Women’s Tour and Tour Series here in the UK.’
James Pope, CEO of FACE Partnership, owners of the series, said: ‘With Sarah Storey’s UCI Hour Record fast-approaching on 28th February, it is particularly significant to have FESTINA Watches involved in the series at this stage when there is a strong emphasis on timing. We are excited to be continuing working with FESTINA on our next event, the Jupiter London Nocturne on 6th June, and also to have the potential to carry the Revolution partnership on to next season.’
