News – Wheelbase Announce 2015 Line-up

WHEELBASE ANNOUNCE 2015 RIDER LINE-UP AND SEEK TWO WILD-CARD RIDERS

WHEELBASE ALTURA MGD is proud to announce their rider line-up for the 2015 season. After a healthy close to 2014 finishing 7th in the National Elite Series, the north western squad look to build on this and aim to develop emerging new talent.

“We want to act as a ‘stepping-stone’ to the UCI Continental Teams,” said Toby Dalton, Team Manager. “We have an excellent 50/50 blend of Under 23 talent and experienced hands in the like of team captain Stuart Reid, Andy Coupe and Lewis Craven. This strategy should make for interesting, unpredictable and exciting racing as these Under 23’s get to race with the UK’s best.”

SPONSORS
After a successful 2014 the majority of sponsors have renewed and are excited about the 2015 season. Headline sponsors remain unchanged with WHEELBASE, the UK’s largest cycle store, Altura technical cycle clothing and haulage company MGD. These are joined by offshore services company Acteon Engineering and Bibby Offshore. Plus, building Design Consultants MAS Design and bespoke kitchen company CabTech.

Sports nutrition is provided by Secret Training and team car by PV Dobson, Jaguar in Lakeland.
