The Danwood Group added to the list of sponsors for the British Road Championships in Lincolnshire from June 25th to 28th

New sponsors announced for Road Championships

We are excited to be able to announce the appointment of The Danwood Group as a further main commercial sponsor for the British Road Championships being held in Lincolnshire from June 25th to 28th who have issued the following release.
‘Locally-based firm the Danwood Group is delighted to be sponsoring the National Cycling Championships in June this year. Headquartered in Lincoln, Danwood is the UK’s leading independent managed print and document-centric services specialist, offering the most extensive wholly-owned nationwide support network.
The company is gearing up for the championships by encouraging staff to cycle into work, amongst other initiatives, as the event itself approaches.’

Local accountants company Saul Fairholm also join the event as one of our supporting sponsors. Danwood join with Plumbase, Active Nation and Bishop Grosseteste University as one of the championships’ main supporters with Saul Fairholm joining a growing list of supporting sponsors. including Willmott Dixon construction company, Duncan and Toplis accountants, Ringrose Law solicitors, Pygott and Crone estate agents and Sports and Leisure Brands with their company Impsport providing the championships souvenirs, race signage and volunteer clothing.
Officials Cars will be provided by Lincoln Audi with eight vehicles in the race convoys for the lead cars and commissaires plus further vehicles from Marshall Land Rover for media and VIP transport.
Those looking for accommodation during the Championships could look no further than one of the event’s main sponsors, Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU). Situated on the route of this very popular event BGU has everything to make your stay in Lincoln a pleasurable one, whether you are taking part in the championship or just spectating.
The University and its comfortable accommodation are ideally placed on the route but also well placed for easy access out into the Lincolnshire Wolds if you are planning to watch or ride the time trial championship.
There is a wide range of facilities on the Campus to suit everyone’s needs which include free car parking, free WiFi, our onsite Refectory diner and The Venue cinema. We are also planning safe storage for bikes for all those budding cyclists who are planning to ride as well as watch!

Assistance will also be given both financially and logistically by Lincolnshire County Council, The City of Lincoln Council, East Lindsey District Council, Magna Vitae and West Lindsey District Council. All are fully supportive of the events taking place in their areas with the time trials opening the championships on June 25th in East Lindsey’s Lincolnshire Wolds and the Cadwell Park motor racing circuit.

The official race programme will be produced by the Lincolnshire Media Group with design work being carried out by Lincoln firm Ruddocks. This promises to be a really great souvenir of the championships with 60 pages in A4 size and full colour being planned.
Tickets for Cadwell Park and the Championships Time Trials are also selling well via the web site and places in the finish line grandstand for Saturday’s Championships Sportive and the evening Criterium plus Sunday’s road races are also being booked on line.
