Report – Fareham Wheelers Club 10k

The new season of club Time Trial started tonight for the Fareham Wheelers. On a still dry evening a good turnout of riders of 33 riders rode the P829 / 10k course from just outside Wickham to the Southwick roundabout and back. The course is fairly flat and a quick time was always on the cards.

The event was won by club member Paul Ashley in a time of 14mins.04secs, a winning margin of 37secs. Caitlin Peters also of Fareham Wheelers was the first women in a time of 16mins 46secs, point on mention is that Caitlin is still a junior.
