This Sunday 10th May, the Scottish 10 Mile Time Trial Championships will take place in Bishopton, Renfrewshire

News – Scottish 10 Mile Time Trial Championships

120 men and 26 women comprising of Scotland’s best time trial riders will set off one by one to battle it out against the clock on the 10 Mile course. Among the riders will be World and European Champion Katie Archibald. Archibald, originally from Milngavie, will be joined by Lynsey Curran, Dooleys Cycles last year’s silver medallist and the 2015 Olympic TT Champion from Uplawmoor, East Renfrewshire.

In the men’s event key contenders will be Iain Grant, Fullarton Wheelers from Barrhead in Glasgow, the 2014 Champion, Arthur Doyle, Dooleys Cycles from Milnathort near Kinross the 2014 silver medallist and Chris Smart, Paisley Velo Race Team from Saltcoats, Ayrshire the 2015 Olympic TT Champion.

Craig Burn, Scottish Cycling’s Chief Executive said: “Scottish Cycling are delighted that the Scottish Cycling National Championships are taking place in Bishopton. This is a chance for the best riders throughout the country to come together and compete for a coveted National Championship title on one of our many great courses we have here in Scotland.”
