Tommy Power (Strada Sport) dominated the 45 mile Iceni Duff Morgan Road Race at Shotesham in Norfolk, who rode off the front before half-distance and had over two minutes in hand at the finish on Skeets Hill.

Rain cleared just in time for the start, soon after which Martin Barkes (Ipswich BC) went ahead alone. But by the third of the short laps the field was all together. Power took off as the race climbed out of Saxlingham and was initially joined by a group of six, but when the bunch threatened to catch them at Shotesham Church, Power applied himself again, and after that a well organised Strada team successfully discouraged the chased, despite frequent efforts by CC London pair Tristan Grigalis and Ian Watson.
