The 2015 Pearl Izumi Tour Series has begun and One Pro Cycling have kicked it off with a double victory in their first series whilst Tom Scully of Madison Genesis won the circuit race

Live! Tour Series – Ryde
The Pearl Izumi Tour Series kicked off in Ryde on the Isle of Wight and what a spectacular round it was with the racing aggressive and the crowds enormous!
Top team at Ryde was One Pro Cycling winning the team award in both events – Chris Opie, Yanto Barker, Jon Mould, George Harper and Marcin Bialoblocki
The day belonged to One Pro Cycling who won the team award in both events, the Team Time Trial and the Circuit Race. But close behind were Madison Genesis who dominated the circuit race with first Tom Stewart away for most of the event before being caught late on, only for his teammate, Tom Scully, to clip off and win the race!
Behind, NFTO’s Ian Bibby and Jonny McEvoy were second and third but it was On Pro Cycling with all five riders in the 18 man strong group who played the team game the best and won that for the second time in the day to put them in a commanding position after the first two events.
Tom Scully of Madison Genesis back to his winning ways in the Tour Series
All the other teams lost riders from that front group during a race where the climb was decisive with everyone suffering. Madison Genesis had four in the lead group and NFTO had three but that will never be enough if One Pro Cycling can again finish all five in that lead group.
So, going into the next round at Redditch, the pressure is on to stop One Pro Cycling running away with the competition on a similar, but not as hard a course. Interviews from the night to come …
Great colours of the Aussie Champion Steele Von Hoff with bike to match. He suffered a mechanical and came close to getting back on but the effort took its toll and it wasn’t going to be his night.
NFTO’s Ian Bibby twice got away to chase a Madison Genesis rider and was second on the night, yet another powerful performance from him in 2015
One Pro Cycling’s Jon Mould leads what is left of the peloton chasing Tom Scully of Madison Genesis
Morgan Kniesky of Raleigh GAC with Ian Bibby (NFTO) trying to break free at the front
Not an ideal circuit for Ian Wilkinson of Raleigh GAC who was 35th. Evan Oliphant, finishing just behind Ian was two laps up.
Steele von Hoff of NFTO stops to adjust his wheel or chain on the climb and cost him and his team and better place in the race.
Tom Scully, (Madison Genesis) race winner and also Fastest Lap!
Bloody awesome solo effort by Tom Stewart (Madison Genesis)
Riders start the climb for the first time in front of a big crowd lining both sides of the road
Jonny McEvoy of NFTO wins the sprint for third.
Ian Bibby of NFTO broke clear by a few seconds to clinch second.
Pedal Heaven third in the Team Time Trial
Madison Genesis get underway in the Team Time Trial
Team Time Trial winners though were One Pro Cycling.
