Product News – Get into Wool

Advertorial from Prendas
Once upon a time woolen jerseys were worn year round by racing cyclists and whilst fabrics have changed over the decades since I raced in them, in country’s like Britain where the weather turns cold, then the retro looking woolen jersey not only looks cool but feels great on.

Prendas, clothing specialists focusing on the unique and the stylish, have three jerseys worth a look:

Bianchi/Campagnolo Retro Wool Jersey – Short Sleeve
50% Wool/50% Acrylic – £119.95

BianchiWool

After the success of the 2011 Italian Champion Wool Jersey, Santini have produced this exclusive, limited edition Bianchi/Campagnolo wool jersey to celebrate the 2012 Felice Gimondi Gran Fondo.

The ‘scritta’ on the front and shoulders is embroidered as in the days before sublimation and man made fibres made it possible to print on cycle jerseys. The jersey also features the rainbow bands on the sleeves and collar just like Sgnr Gimondi wore back in the day. The jersey has a 14cm Santini-branded zip and the rear pockets have buttons which are embossed with the Santini name.
