News – Wiggins to Revolution 2

Sir Bradley Wiggins has been confirmed to take part in the Revolution Series event in Manchester on 24th October. The Olympic Champion will lead Team Wiggins. “I’m looking forward to representing Team Wiggins in the Revolution Championship” he said.

“The next event comes in the middle of a busy period between the Euro Track Championships and Cali World Cup so hopefully I’ll have some good form going into the Revolution event and we can get some points on the board.”

Wiggins featured at the opening round of the series in Derby where he partnered with Mark Cavendish in the Madison. For the second of the 2015/2016 Revolution meets, he will be joined by team mate Owain Doull who had such a fantastic Tour of Britain, finishing third overall.

Team Wiggins though will face tough opposition including Ed Clancy (JLT Condor), Adam Blythe, Glenn O’Shea (Orica GreenEDGE), Christian Grasmann and Marcel Kalz with more riders to be confirmed.
