It also highlight’s Raleigh-GAC’s intention to give riders fresh out of the Junior ranks a place in a UCI team where they can learn and grow with the help of more experienced and high profile racers.

“This is a great opportunity for both Jack and Karl to put into action everything they have learnt whilst riding for HMT Academy. Of course they will continue to learn and develop as u23’s while under the guidance of Raleigh GAC, and as a team we wish them all the best” commented a spokesperson for HMT Academy Cycling Team.

Both Baillie and Escritt have enjoyed success in 2015 as juniors, both taking wins in the British National Series. Karl Baillie also won stage 2 of Junior Tour of the Basque Country, in what he described as a season highlight.

Jack and Karl have also played key roles in HMT Academy’s success across Europe, with top results in Poland, Spain, France, Belgium and Holland.
