News – Tickets for Good Friday

General admission tickets will be available to purchase from Monday 1st February for The Good Friday Meeting, a legendary track cycling competition in the British calendar. The event returns to the Lee Valley VeloPark (London’s indoor Olympic velodrome) on Friday 25th March 2016.

Presale VIP tickets are still available for the best seats in the house, including exclusive access to meet the stars of the track at the Olympic venue.

With over 100 years of history, The Good Friday Meeting is the oldest track cycling event in Britain and pre-dates the Tour de France. It attracts some of the world’s best riders and will be one of the few opportunities to see Team GB riders in action on home soil ahead of this year’s Olympics.

Over the years, The Good Friday Meeting has seen the likes of Sir Bradley Wiggins, Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton, Jody Cundy, Andy Tennant and Ed Clancy compete at the unique track cycling event.

The Good Friday Meeting is unique due to the open nature of the racing, which sees amateur riders take on professionals. Entertaining for both the long-time fan and the newly converted, it’s an event for all who cherish bike racing and watching competition at its most thrilling, and culminates with the 15k Golden Wheel scratch race as the grand finale.

The VIP Meet & Greet Zone will be in the Track Centre and pre-sale ticket holders will have access to some of the heroes of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

General admission for The Good Friday Meeting starts from £15, with presale VIP tickets at £17.50. Just one ticket allows access to the whole day’s racing.
