It’s a series that the riders love, or so says Tobyn Horton of Madison Genesis as the rounds of the Pearl Izumi Tour Series was launched in Milton Keynes on Saturday

1 – May 12, Isle of Man (Ramsey) Includes TTT
2 – May 17, Motherwell (Scotland) Womens RD 1
3 – May 19, Edinburgh (Scotland)
4 – May 26, Redditch Womens RD 2
5 – May 27, Aberystwyth
6 – May 31, Durham
7 – June 2, Stoke on Trent Womens RD 3
8 – June 6, Stevenage Womens RD 4
9 – June 7, Croydon Womens RD 5
10 – June 9, Portsmouth Womens RD 6



— The expanded Women’s Series will visit Motherwell, Redditch, Stoke-on-Trent, Stevenage, Croydon and Portsmouth.

– Final week will be a triple header with new circuits in Stevenage, Croydon and the final round at Portsmouth
– Second week will take in two Scottish rounds – Motherwell and Edinburgh on 17 & 19 May
– Opening round on Isle of Man at Ramsey will include a Team Time Trial
– Squads increased to 12 riders, with five per team in each race
– Race format will still be calculated on time, but now with four riders to count following feedback from team managers
