The fourth round of the Elite Circuit Series travels to East Yorkshire and Beverley on Friday night for one of the established and prestigious rounds in the series

Crit Series – Next Stop Beverley

The first edition of the town centre circuit race was held in 2006 as part of a weekend of racing which included both the Men’s and Women’s National Road Race championships and since then has become a popular and prestigious event to win.

Circuit
The circuit is 1.25km with a variety of open road and tight narrow sections including pedestrian zones. The surface is varied with some sections of granite cobbles, some sandstone block paving and tarmac. The road will be subject to total road closure with over 800 crowd barriers providing an 80% coverage.

The race starts and finishes in Beverley town centre in Saturday

Market place and heads north turning into Sow Hill. The race then takes a right turn into Old Walkergate and onto Wednesday Market turning right into Lord Roberts rd, around into Cross Street and onto pedestrian zone, bearing left along Toll Gavel, continue straight on into Saturday Market to complete 1 lap.

The pit area will be 50mts before the finish next to the team village. Support race continues for 40 mins. Ladies Race continues for 40 mins. Elite Series Circuit race continues for 60 mins. Lapped riders will be withdrawn from the race.
