Molly Haycock (Bournemouth Arrow CC) took her fourth win at the Bournemouth Cycleworks sponsored Moreton Summer series after a crash brought a premature end to the open race.

Comfortably winning the sprint, Haycock is simply too fast for the rest, her track speed and tactical sense ideally suited to the straight, flat lanes around the village.
Gail Brown (Bournemouth Uni CC) & Laura Rayner (Westbury Wheelers) work hard and drive the race but both are too honest, some collusion is needed if they are to get the better of the speedy, 17 year old Haycock.

A heavy crash halfway through the open race saw 6 riders come down as the scratch group caught those in front. The race was neutralised but quickly abandoned with one rider still on the ground and an ambulance on the way.The Bournemouth Cycleworks Moreton series continues next Thursday 15th.
