A perfectly timed sprint saw Victoria Strila of PMR@Toachim House take victory by a tire width at the Surrey League 2W/3W road race on Monday 29 August.

After seven attritional laps of the rolling course the finale came down to a bunch sprint. First to crest the finish hill was Eryn Nolan of Pretorius Bikes, and though she had pulled out several bike lengths up the hill Victoria emerged from the wheels in the final 50 metres to draw level and then edge past Eryn with a final bike throw, taking take the win by the narrowest of margins.

It was a good day for PMR@Toachim House, with Victoria being joined on the podium by teammate Susan Freebyrn in third and Alexis Barnes finishing in sixth place.
