Spring Cup winner, Team Raleigh GAC’s Adria Moreno is carrying his good form into some local races in Catalunya with a victory on the second stage of the Volta Garrotxa

The race with 130 starters, was a one of the most important races in the Catalunya calender says Adria and was held in his home town. The race (Festes del Tura) was 130km with three climbs and was the second stage of a Challenge (multi race event) called the Volta Garrotxa.

“I took the responsibility to push on up a big climb” explained Adria “and only the challenge leader could follow me. Afterwards, three more riders caught us and we work together to the finish where I won the sprint.”

It was a close sprint and an important victory because the history of the race is really good with many big names as winners and I was also racing in front of my family and friends, so it is very special!
