As the leaves slowly start to change colour and fall from the trees, and the mountain peaks get the occasional dusting of snow, the last bike-box is heading to the airport and the Alpcycles doors have closed on another great cycling season for our team in 2016.

We, of course, would like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who came and stayed and rode with us in 2016 and especially to the folks who keep coming back year after year and making Alpcycles the growing cycling family it has become. A massive thanks also to our dedicated staff team, who put their heart and souls (and lungs!) into helping us create the best trips and event packages possible.

But there is certainly no rest for the wicked and already we are well into planning and selling for 2017 which we are proud to announce will be our 10th ANNIVERSARY YEAR. We have already added a few new packages to the 2017 calendar and our classics such as La Marmotte and Maratona will be in there as ever.

So, as winter slowly creeps in, there is a chill in the air on those morning rides and you are dusting off the turbo, it’s time to start planning your rides and goals for 2017 to get you through the coming months.

Whether you are looking for a long Weekend in the Alps (we have two locations to choose from in 2017) or a week long “Big Cols” training camp for your group or club, our varied calendar has something to suit you. Or perhaps you are ready to test yourself and have a crack at La Marmotte Grandfondo, Maratona dles Dolomites or the mighty Haute Route 7 Day Stage events, Haute Route Pyrenees or Haute Route Alps.
