Report: Mansgate Hill Climb

The inaugural Mansgate Hill Climb in Caistor, Lincolnshire, saw a small but high quality field take to the start line at the bottom of the infamous Lincolnshire hill.

Joshua Jones won with a course record time of 3m24. Jonathan Bridge of Acre Racing Team came home just 2.8 seconds behind as first junior; Simon Froberg first vet, and Evelyn Oldale first female.

As a test event for 2016, the race received good reviews for organisation (and bad for the toughness of the hill!). The event is already scheduled to take place in October 2017 and will open for online entries nearer the time.
