New for 2017 … With winter now full on, time for a versatile bike that can go on road/off road like the Kuota K-Allroad
This carbon based disc brake equipped bike is a new innovation by Kuota for the coming 2017 season. Technically suitable for all types of terrain: road and off-road, for cyclocross or adventure touring, it’s ideal for those who want to go anywhere on the one bike.
The most striking feature on the Kuota K-Allroad is the eye catching camouflage livery giving it a contemporary look to stand out from the rest. But whilst the K-Allroad is casual in the appearance, it is sophisticated and technically advanced.
The Kuota K-Allroad is enhanced by a number of key features that make it unique, such as the ability to accommodate tyres between 28 and 35 mm (wide). This is possible thanks to the seat stays in the rear triangle that have a flattened section to make way for larger tyres.
Other features include a 142 mm E-thru axle (12 mm diameter) with an adjustable quick release or to be used with a Torx key.
– The K-Allroad adopts modern flat mount disc brake calipers,
– The ‘high modulus’ carbon frame weighs 1100 g (a medium size frame)
– The bottom bracket is a standard 386 and the head tube is a tapered 1 1/8†to 1.5â€
– It has a 27.2 mm seat post for comfort and can also be used with full mudguards and touring bags.
The Kuota K-Allroad is a true road chameleon that is just as capable on or off road.
Prices start from £2,309 for a Shimano 105 build, but there are endless other possibilities with our ‘Kustom’ build project.
