After a hugely successful 2016 which saw the NE team race across the UK, Asia, Africa and Europe registering sixty-nine wins and some really notable results, the new colours and line up  for 2017 are unveiled. The team will be known as Brother DriverPlan NRG Pro Cycling reflecting the support of the three lead partners.

Highlights for the 2016 season included two divisional championships, stage wins in the Tour of Poyang Lake, Liuzhou Llunjang International Cycle Race and two stages and the overall in the Huaanghan Skoda Cycling Tour in addition to 3rd in the Beaumont Trophy.

The goal and objectives of the team remain the same success in the UK across the national tier of events, combined with a fifty-day foreign calendar incorporating one day and tours across Asia, Africa and Europe to give the riders a real opportunity to develop and showcase their abilities.

The core group of riders remain the same with the additions of Simon Wilson, current World Masters Individual Pursuit Champion, Richard Haughton National Masters Criterium Champion and winner of fifteen races in 2016, Rob Smail who returns to the UK after racing in Belgium and Jacob Tipper formerly of Pedal Heaven who had a superb season including a number of wins, a Top 20 in the Rutland Melton Cicle Classic and a stage win in The Tour of Al Zuburah.
