News: £1,000 for Dave Rayner Fund with Raleigh Banana Kit

Over the past two years, Prendas have donated over £18,000 to the Dave Rayner Fund that gives young riders the chance to follow in Dave’s footsteps enabling them to race abroad.

Along with sales of the existing Rocket Espresso Milano garments, Prendas came out with a jersey dedicated to Dave Rayner in his old team colours of Raleigh Banana and this clothing has already generated 1,000 to the Dave Rayner Fund with sales of 100 items.

Mick Tarrant of Prendas Ciclismo said “We are very pleased to return this eye-catching jersey back to the marketplace. Given the fact that Dave Rayner rode for the team, we felt it was only right that the Dave Rayner Fund received a £10 donation for every garment sold”.

Joscelin Ryan representing the Dave Rayner Fund said prior to the release of the jerseys, “What great news! The Fund is very grateful to both Prendas Ciclismo and Rocket Espresso Milano for their continued support. These funds make a very real difference to young riders allowing them to experience life abroad in their quest to become professional cyclists.”
