The teams and riders qualified through their placings at the Six Day Series events in London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Copenhagen. An additional wild card is available at the organisers’ discretion and one was awarded to the Spanish pairing of Albert Torres and Sebastian Mora Vedri, who finished just one place below Tennant and Latham in the classification.

The sprint line up will include Spanish Olympian Juan Peralta, who took part in both London and Rio Games. The full line up is:

Juan Peralta (ESP)
Nate Koch (USA)

The Sprint event will include a Spain v Rest of the World team sprint alongside an individual competition. As is the Six Day way, the event will take place against the backdrop of a party atmosphere, featuring a live DJ in the track centre with DJ Martin 2 Smoove at the controls for the Six Day Final.

After spending much of 2016 on a world tour with Gwen Stefani and Eve, 2 Smoove is a Six Day veteran with two London Six Days and the Amsterdam event under his belt. There will be a track centre hospitality area, where Spanish legend Miguel Indurain will be guest of honour for the event.
