News: 2017 Clay Cross Racing Team

Clay Cross RT are a development team of talented young riders competing in regional and national road and track races. The launch of the team recently sealed the team sponsorship by leading bike shop Velo-Bavarian in Duffield Derby and was an opportunity to try on the new range of kit by French cycle clothing manufacturer Aerosporting.

Clay Cross RT are focussing as a development team for their new squad of under 23 and junior riders, supported by a few older and ex professional riders. For the 2017 season the team will be aiming to achieve results in the East Midlands Road Race League as well as supporting the young riders in some of the Premier Calendar events and the Junior national points series.

The team followed the launch with a 2nd place and three riders in the top ten in Sundays 70 mile 2/3/4 Beeston Road Race on the hottest day of the year so far and is a promising start to the season.

Clay Cross are sponsored by Caden Carbon Bike Wheels, Velo Bavarian, Continental Tyres, North Midlands Construction, Beet-It Sports, Torq, Qoleum and Aerosporting.
