he Hatfield Puncheur/East London Velo RR’ was characterised this year by attacks and hard racing from the start, with several breakaways forming on laps 1 & 2 of the 8 lap course at Hatfield Heath, in Essex. The win was taken by Jake Hales of the Spirit Tifosi Racing Team, who out-sprinted his breakaway companions and took home the Gael Barnes Trophy.

Both primes were won from breakaways, the first by Simon Alexander of Richardsons Trek, Mike Wragg of CC Luton taking the second. A special prize was also awarded this year to the highest placed Junior rider, Jacob Vaughan, in 3rd overall.
