In the born 2013 & later age group Euan Kinnish notched up his second success of the series, outgunning runner-up Riley Faragher in the final dash for the line. Four time winner Bella Quaye was a close third and Jackson Roberts pipped Eli Dawson for fourth. Harry Kinrade overtook Austin Baglow on the finishing straight to grab sixth and Ewan McCubbin held off Daisy Teare, India Smith and Bobby Quaye in the race for eighth.

Holly Beattie broke away from the field to record her maiden victory in the novices class. Charlotte Ashall edged out Elliott Barron in the battle for second and Alexander Jones stayed clear of chasers Claudia Hoch, Bradley Malone, Naomi Nesbitt and Xara Quinn to claim fourth. Kahia Grobbelaar was a lonely ninth and Jenson Baglow led Steven Kennaugh home to complete the top ten leader board.

Grenaby’s Tommy Bass led breakaway partners Poppy Clayton, Gracie Evans and Cameron Eyres over the line to pick up his third successive victory in the born 2012 category. Seamus Hall was a safe fifth and Charlie Christian overcame Archie Kaighin in the tussle for sixth. George Hampton was close behind in eighth spot and Aedan Le Roux ousted Henry Kinradein the bunch gallop for ninth.

In the born 2011 event Jacob Wilson was too strong for Alex McCullagh and Finbar McSevney in the final rush for the chequered flag. Former frontrunners Bernat Munoz-Fite and Abigail Cowell were fourth and fifth, with the fast finishing Toby Costain fronting Charlie Dormer and Joshua Moffitt in the scamper for sixth. Samuel Kinnish was ninth and Bobby Kerruish kept Bobby Kewley at bay for tenth.

Kylan Murphy left nothing to chance in the born 2010 race, attacking from the gun and soloing to an emphatic win. Brad Le Geyt forged ahead of leading girl Lula Kinnish to claim second and Conor Madsen-Mygdal clipped off the front of the chasing pack to bag fourth. Illiam Thomas took the group sprint for fifth ahead of Daniel Minay, Harrison Skillan, Max Messenger, Casey Clague and, completing the top ten, Ambrose Hampton.

May-Saa Smith emerged from a five-strong leading group to score maximum points for fifth time in the born 2009 race. Abi Clayton was second closely followed by Eddie Dillon, Tom Pickavance and Zach Jones in third, fourth and fifth respectively. Harry Beattie came from behind to snatch sixth from fellow chasers Cameron Hounsell, Graihagh Morgan and Henry Dormer, while newcomer Callum Christian did well to finish tenth.

Ten riders contested the finish of the born 2008 class, with Alec Sorby coming out on top in the final lunge for the line. Joel Long grabbed second ahead of Deaglan Blake, T.J.Teare, Freddie Griffin, Charlie Williams, George Kinnish, Leon Murphy, Bob Radcliffe and Lewis Quirk. The first girl was Tiana Kelly in 12th position.

The following born 2007 & earlier grouping ended in similar fashion as seven frontrunners approached the finish together. Cian Howard led out the gallop but it was Orry Lund who came round him to take the victory, his first of the series. Oscar Gaylor and James Kinrade were third and fourth, with Nicola Quaye pipping Jess Pickavance for the girls’ prize in fifth place.

In the combined under-8 and under-10 racing bikes Alec Sorby maintained his 100% record, outgunning ten other riders in a frantic scamper for the line. Myles Le Geyt and Deaglan Blake filled the remaining places on the podium. May-Saa Smith was the top girl in sixth spot and Kylan Murphy the best under-8 in seventh position.

The under-12 racing bikes also produced a tight finish with a front group of eight riders fighting for the honours. In the end it was Cian Howard who had the speed to nail the win in front of Oscar Gaylor and Owen Collins. Ivan Sorby was fourth and Nicola Quaye the leading girl in fifth place.

A fast pace in the under-14 and under-16 racing bikes made it difficult for any breakaway attempts to succeed. Ten frontrunners fought it out in a frantic sprint with James Harrison nosing ahead to grab the victory from Will Corkill and Aaron Lund. Tyler Hannay was fourth, Matthew Cooil fifth and Jack Christian Sixth. Zac Walker, Ralf Holden and Nathan Slack were the top three under-14’s in ninth, tenth and 13th places respectively, with Shellan Leeming the first girl in 17th spot.
