Ben Millar today won the 2nd race of the 2 race Tavistock Wheelers Brentor Road Race Series to clinch the overall Series prize.

Bike City’s Ben Millar today won the 2nd race of the 2 race Brentor Road Race Series to clinch the overall Series prize.

46 riders took to the start line, in what was a warm, dry, still but humid day in West Devon around the Heathfield Circuit near the famous Brentor Church.

Millar also scooped up the day’s 2 Primes to claim 2 large bags of the sponsor’s Ambrosia products and secured a 3rd bag for winning the overall points competition.

A further 4th bag was claimed with the overall series win. Millar sprinted home in a 5 man break away with Alistair Stubbs (RNRMCA) 2nd, Oliver Yates (Somerset Road Club) 3rd, James Brown (Tri UK) 4th and Tristan Davies (Mid Devon) 5th. Series Runner up Josh Coyne (Okehampton) lead the Peleton home in 6th.

Tristan Davies took the Series Junior Prize and the remaining Ambrosia bag.
