This Weekend: TLI Cycling National TT Championship

The last event in the season long Lapierre Road Series, which this year is combined with the TLI Cycling 2018 National Time Trial Championships, takes place this Sunday, 16th September on a sporting course based on the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen in North Wales.

The last event in the season long Lapierre Road Series, which this year is combined with the TLI Cycling 2018 National Time Trial Championships, takes place this Sunday, 16th September on a sporting course based on the Horseshoe Pass near Llangollen in North Wales.

A full field of 120 riders has entered the event which has faced a last-minute course change due to road works, which has reduced the distance to be raced by 5 miles to 30 miles. The finish is at the Ponderosa Café at the top of the Horseshoe Pass.

The event is open to TLI Cycling members only and as it is part of the Lapierre Series of road races, riders will have to ride normal road bikes. Tri-bars, aero helmets, and disc wheels are not allowed. The first rider off is at 9.00am, with the start at the base of the Horseshoe Pass.

Location/Circuit: Llangollen – Horseshoe Pass/Corwen/Horseshoe Pass

Event Details:
Start: From 9.00 am at 1 Minute intervals.
Distance: 25 Miles.

Categories: All from YA and Older.

Special Instructions: ROAD BIKES ONLY (No Aero TT Helmets, Tri-bars, Lo-pro TT Bikes or Disc Wheels). Skinsuits/speedsuits and deep section wheels ARE permitted.
