“I won the crest RR after about 70km chasing a break containing Colin ward (national record holder for 100 miles) and two other guys. I stuck at it with the gap yoyoing, held a pace I knew I could hold, the guys I was with dropped off one by one until I was solo. Then the front break blew apart and I picked them off one by one before I then dropped the leader up the final kick and won by 30 seconds”
