News: Estrella Bikes Liso/Liso Disc Updated for 2019

The Liso and LisoDisc have both had an update for 2019 with the V2 version now available.

The most striking changes are the new tube shapes, especially the down tube, and the sleeker seat cluster with an integrated clamp. The down tube’s new shape, looking similar to the kneel of a boat, adds stiffness as well as cutting through the air better. This combined with the new bottom bracket shape makes for a stronger, stiffer bottom bracket area while using less material giving a lighter overall weight whilst still maintaining the comfort this frame is famed for.

The 12mm thru-axles front and rear of the disc version add to the overall firm feeling of the steering and braking giving confidence whenever you ride it. The gear cable entry points of both are now moved on to the top centre of the down tube, hiding them from the wind, with the rear gear cable exiting from the back of the dropout. On the rim brake version the rear brake entry is now on the right to give smoother cable lines for UK standard brake set ups.

For the disc version we’ve stuck with the very fine Toray T800 carbon, to give that extra robustness needed for the disc braking, whereas the rim brake version uses the exceptional Toray T1000 carbon for extra lightness (880gm for Medium approx.).

Prices for standard build options are on the website https://www.estrella-bikes.com/bikes/liso-liso-disc-v2/ or for any other build options just contact info@estrella-bikes.com for a personalised quote.
