Ewan (Lotto Soudal) is one of four stage winners from the Tour de France who will be heading across the Channel to London. Four former winners of the RideLondon-Surrey Classic are also in the field including Arnaud Demare (Groupama – FDJ) – who returns for the first time since winning the very first edition of the race in 2013 – Jempy Drucker (BORA-Hansgrohe), Adam Blythe (Lotto Soudal) and Alexander Kristoff (UAE Team Emirates).

Fast men Sam Bennett (BORA-Hansgrohe) and Michael Matthews (Team Sunweb), plus the reigning Paris-Roubaix champion Philippe Gilbert (Deceuninck – Quick Step) are also on the start list. The new RideLondon-Surrey Classic route will see the riders start at Bushy Park, close to the historic Hampton Court Palace, in south-west London before heading out to Surrey and five laps of Box Hill. The riders will then return to central London and an iconic finish on The Mall. The race distance is 169km.

In total, 20 teams will race the RideLondon-Surrey Classic including 16 UCI WorldTour outfits. For the first time since 2016, a Great Britain national team will take part in the RideLondon-Surrey Classic. They are Connor Swift, Matt Walls, Ethan Hayter, James Shaw, Scott Thwaites, Gabriel Cullaigh and Tom Stewart.
