News: New Sponsor for Ribble Pro Cycling
Capitalising upon the success of the last season, Ribble Pro Cycling are aiming high with dynamic and ambitious plans for 2020 – and as part of this new directive Ribble Cycles and Ribble Pro Cycling are pleased to announce Weldtite as a new team sponsor – to form Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling.
Tom Timothy, Ribble Pro Cycling Team Principal says, “We are really thrilled to establish this partnership with Ribble Cycles and Weldtite. We had an impactful first year at UCI Continental level and plan to build on that for 2020. The investment and support that Ribble Cycles and Weldtite are providing will be instrumental in allowing the team to continue to develop and progress. It is important to us as a wholly British team, to bring in a British based company that really reflects our core values.”

Weldtite, who are a market leader in bike care product development and manufacture, export to over 50 countries across the globe. This international reach will be supported by Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling who will race across Europe and Asia, as well as in the most prestigious road races in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Paul Davis, Managing Director, Weldtite said on the partnership, “Ribble Pro Cycling’s 2019 season was full of excitement and success on the domestic scene and on the world stage. Similarly to Weldtite, the team have grown very organically and are well positioned to mount a strong assault on the domestic scene and Internationally in 2020. The Tour de Yorkshire and the Tour of Britain are now huge events in the cycling world and are a fantastic platform to increase consumer knowledge of Weldtite products.”
Following a successful 2019 campaign that included over 80 victories both in the UK and Europe. Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling has built a sustainable platform for success and progression. The team are competing at UCI Continental Level in 2020 and are putting their final preparations together ahead of the coming season.
