– What category do you ride?
Molli: First year Junior

– What are your aims for the 2020 season in this new team?
Molli: Gain my 2nd cat license

– What is your favourite discipline?
Molli: Road

– Do you have a favourite race during the season?
Molli: Scarborough National Champs which I have done twice as a youth rider

– Do you race around the country or stick to local races?
Molli: Stay mainly within an hours drive

– If you could change one (or two) things about racing in the UK, what would they be?
Molli: More females racing and the weather :-)

– When will you start racing in 2020
Molli: Probably March, perhaps earlier if weather permits

Molli: Learning to ride more tactically

– What was the most fun/enjoyable race you did in 2019?
Molli: Velobants cyclocross race with 164 other women, an experience I’ll never forget.

– What was the toughest race you did in 2019
Molli: Scarborough National Championships, that hill!

– Was there one thing you learned in 2019 that stands out?
Molli: If you want to be good in the hills, you need to train on hills!

– Are your winter training days structured from day to day or simply riding to enjoy the time on the bike?
Molli: Both. In winter there has to be an element of fun to help get out the door

– Do you have some one coaching you? If so, how does having a coach help you most?
Molli: Yes, just started with James Roberts coaching. I think having a structured and consistent approach will help me most.

– What is your favourite item of Shutt VR clothing
Molli: Only recently joined so only have a jersey but the quality is amazing

– Which item of clothing gets used the most?
Molli: Long sleeve jersey, looking forward to receiving my new Shutt jersey next week

– With it being a wet winter, what items of clothing do you use to keep warm?
Molli: Looking forward to trying the tights as I’ve heard good reports about them

– Do you spend more time training indoors in the winter than the summer?
Molli: Most definitely. Almost never indoors in the summer.

– What type of race bike will you have in 2020?
Molli: Focus Cayo

– What groupset/wheels will you choose for your race bike?
Molli: Shimano Ultegra with Carbon 38mm wheels

– Finally, are there races in 2020 you really want to work towards doing well in?
Molli: The recently announced Tour of the Mendips
