Estrella Bikes reveal new and improve endurance carbon fibre Liso V3 – lighter and faster than ever
New Bikes: Estrella Bikes Liso v3
Fully aero Liso 3 carbon Endurance bike now available
Back in 2019, Estrella Bikes were able to introduce exciting updates to their endurance bike, the Liso and LisoDisc, but given the unprecedented challenges that 2020 has produced for the world, Estrella Bikes feel even more excited to say they have been able to update the models again for this years with the release of the V3 Liso.
The two most important and impressive updates for the 2020 model is that both the Liso rim brake and LisoDisc V3 are available either with standard cable routing or with fully concealed cables with one-piece bars. This reinforces Estrella’s unique selling point of allowing customers having autonomy over your performance bike builds.
The second exciting update is that the Disc version has now had the carbon upgraded to T1000 to match the rim version. To allow this, the non-drive chain stay has been bulked up to take the extra forces from the disc brakes, allowing the robustness and therefore confidence needed for powerful disc braking. The larger cross section of the chain stay that was necessary to allow for strong braking further brought the weight of the frame down.
This, paired with the T1000 (the best you can get) carbon upgrade means we have managed to reduce the frame weight even more than last year, to 870g and for both the Liso and LisoDisc.
Whilst the changes of the frame shape seem subtle, keeping the classy, sleek look that the 2019 models proudly boasted, there are still some more intricate, interesting changes to note. The seat cluster has been trimmed down further, with a clamp cover added to it as well, protecting the inside of the frame from road spray and further weatherproofing your ride.
The front fork has now got a replaceable threaded insert to allow for the thru-axle. For ultimate autonomy, the frame also comes with a choice of either in-line or 20 mm set back full carbon seat post. The V3 is available in black with white writing and either blue/pink/blue accents or the Team red/white/green.
The bike really comes alive when it’s time to get a move on whether it’s applying the power in the saddle or out of it. The bike is as stiff and as tough as a bike needs to be to perform at the highest level. The design focus is providing comfort without compromising performance.
Frame only price is £1570 for standard and £1995 for the integrated version (includes handlebars/stem). Both versions come with headset and full carbon seat post. Prices for standard build options are on the website https://www.estrella-bikes.com/bikes.
All bikes come with the option for custom builds with the groupset and wheels of your choice. For any other build options or queries just contact info@estrella-bikes.com.
