Ribble Weldtite Feature – brought to you by Ribble Cycles
Project Speed is an internal team project with the objective of being regarded as one of the most focused time trialing teams in the world, and by far the best performing domestically. Our objective is to continue to push the boundaries and to provide the best possible equipment and opportunities within the team and partner framework. We aim to leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of speed, with internal and external buy in from all riders and partners.
The Ultra TT is Ribble Cycles Time Trial offering, designed and perfected with watt saving as the priority. The Ultra TT is a UCI legal, proven race winning and record breaking TT platform.
Utilising Wattshops aerodynamic expertise and suite of products, the team have been able to refine the position, pacing and kit choices for the riders. Using Notio Connect has enabled clear testing and improvements in real world conditions.
“As a company with an emphasis on high performance components, Project Speed has enabled us to apply our knowledge base to improving every rider within the team. Getting fully immersed in the project has meant we’ve been able to comb over every detail of each riders position and bike set up. The results; fully optimised positions and equipment selection, from our aero valve covers through to our complete Anemoi extension system. It’s been a real joy to be so heavily involved in Project Speed and without doubt Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling will be a force to be reckoned with at every event this season and heavy favourites for the National championships.” Grant Bigham, Director, Wattshop.
