News: British CX & Track Championships Postponed

Due to the ongoing challenges presented by restrictions in place across England, Scotland and Wales, British Cycling has announced that the 2021 National Track Championships and National Cyclo-Cross Championships have been postponed, while the final round of the Cyclo-Cross National Trophy series in York has been cancelled.

The recent introduction of new restrictions across Britain, which limits access to training venues and the ability to travel – and the current likelihood that these will continue into the new year – have made planning events on this scale impossible in their traditional calendar slots.

British Cycling are now working closely with the key event stakeholders for the two national championships with a view to finding alternative dates in the calendar, and will communicate any updates to riders, volunteers and fans of our sport at the earliest opportunity. It is hoped that we will be able to return to York for the national trophy series in 2021/22.

Original event dates – new dates to come:
Cyclo-Cross National Trophy, York, 12-13 December 2020 (Cancelled)
National Cyclo-Cross Championships, Crawley, 9-10 January 2021 (postponed)
National Track Championships, Manchester, 28-31 January 202 (postponed)
