Tour of Valencia (3-7 February) has unveiled the stages for the coming edition. The five-day stage race starts in Elche, ends in Valencia and the riders will be have a mountain stage and individual time trial along the way.

The multi-day race starts on Wednesday 3 February with a tough stage from Elche to Ondara, with four climbs along the way. On day two, the riders will race on flat roads near Alicante. The third stage is without a doubt the queen stage with more than 4,000 vertical meters and a finish on the Alto de la Reina.

The penultimate stage is also very important for the classification riders. An individual time trial of 21 kilometres has been designed between Xilxes and Almenara. The final stage is flat again and traditionally leads from Palencia to the capital Valencia.

The organization can again count on many star names this year, especially since many overseas races have now been canceled. Egan Bernal, Tao Geoghegan Hart, Enric Mas, Alejandro Valverde, Simon Yates, Greg Van Avermaet, Vincenzo Nibali and Arnaud Démare have now been announced by the organisation.
