News: Pidcock 3rd in World Cup

After a battle with Michael Vanthourenhout, Tom Pidcock took third place in the World Cup in Overijse. The Brit was also on the podium in Namen and Hulst. “I think it was okay,” he said in the flash interview.

“I am happy to have finished third and to be on the podium. It’s my last event in Trinity’s jersey, so it’s a great way to end, ”said the new INEOS Grenadiers rider. “I actually didn’t feel very well. I was a bit tired, although it was better than yesterday in Hamme. I’m going to freshen up this week for next week and I should feel better.”

Pidcock also looked ahead to the World Championships in Ostend next weekend. “It is not the perfect course for me. It will undoubtedly be very fast. Now that I have some competitions in the legs, I think I will be in shape. Hopefully it will be enough for next weekend.”
