The Central Region is delighted to announce that Anthony Anderson has been selected to become the Junior Road Race Team Manager. The region has seen the team revitalised by Paul Quaterman in the three years, leading up to 2020. Looking forward to when we can return to racing, the region plans to be ready, providing opportunities for its Junior riders to compete both national and international events.

Central Region road race work group chair Patrick Kavanagh said, “Anthony is ideal for the role. He competed for the region as a youth and junior, is an active volunteer for the region, and has attained coaching and academic qualifications further supporting him in this role. As well as experience in the sport, he is a young person who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the manager’s role. We need people like Anthony to get involved when the sport returns after the current lockdown restrictions”.

Anthony Anderson says “I am very proud to be selected as Central Region Junior Team Manager. Having represented Central region as a youth and junior rider, I have been provided with some fantastic opportunities that I am now looking to provide for the next generation of Central Region riders. Central region riders will be offered the opportunity to represent their region at national and international events where they can develop themselves as a bike rider and person.”
