Tour of the Aitana in June with CHS

Taking in many of the climbs of La Vuelta, this is not any tour but hailed as THE TOUR says Nozad from Cycling Holiday Spain. This new grand tour sportif starts and finishes Nozad’s town. The sportive takes in several legendary climbs including the Coll de Rates, the Puerto de Confrides and the Puerto de Tudons included on this incredible 128k sportive with over 2400m of climbing.

Port of Confrides: 960 masl – Cat. 2 — It is the first of the three climbs that will be used and will start 6 km from the start. The climb has a total distance of 20.5 kilometres through the beautiful Guadalest valley and an average slope of 3.60%, but with ramps that exceed 10%.

Puerto de Tudons 1024 masl – Cat. 2 — it is a 5.4km ascent, much used by La Vuelta a España. It has an average slope of 5.4% and hard ramps of 13% that will make the participants express themselves like a true pro tour climber on the ascent of +310m .

Coll de Rates: 628 masl – Cat. 2 — It is one of the most mythical and traditional climbs on the international cycling scene. It has a total distance of 6.6 km and an accumulated difference of +354m. Along the way, we find ramps of 9% that lead to an average slope of 5.4%. In this emblematic port, the prize for the mountain by Caixa Callosa will be disputed.

Nozard says CHS has guaranteed entries and will be running a training camp during the week culminating in the event. Don’t miss a chance to ride epic Vuelta climbs and a fantastic cycling week with us CHS
