News: Brother UK Sponsors Biggest UK Races
A leading sponsor of cycling in Britain and chief partner for VeloUK, Brother UK have renewed and expanded their commitment to Britain’s biggest professional cycling races, the Women’s Tour and the Tour of Britain, ahead of the 2022 events.

The partnership will see Brother UK continue as the Official Print and Results Partner of both races while also becoming the presenting sponsor of the race’s Green Zones, as part of the company’s double Queens Award-winning focus on sustainability. This year will mark the ninth consecutive season of Brother UK’s support of the Tour of Britain and Women’s Tour having sponsored both events since 2014 and served as Official Print and Results Partner since 2016.
Brother UK and race organisers SweetSpot Group will also work together to explore further opportunities to incorporate Brother UK products and expertise to benefit the logistics operation behind the successful events. Brother UK’s Managing Director, Phil Jones MBE, said: “I’m delighted to continue Brother UK’s support for The Women’s Tour and Tour of Britain into 2022 as Official Print and Results Partner and to expand our commitment to sponsorship of the Green Zones”.
“With Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) now high on the list of buyers across the spectrum, it made sense for us to expand our sponsorship assets within both races to the Green Zone and give us a platform to talk about our group credentials in this area. For example, stage four of this year’s Women’s Tour will pass our Brother Industries recycling and remanufacturing plant in Ruabon: a zero carbon and zero waste to landfill facility.”
Tour of Britain and Women’s Tour Commercial Director Miles Rose said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Phil and the team at Brother UK for both the Women’s Tour and Tour of Britain, and to expand it to cover the green zones on both races. Brother UK’s credentials and expertise in this area are a reminder to all on the role sustainability has in our work environments.”
The Women’s Tour, the UK’s longest-running UCI Women’s WorldTour event, returns to its traditional early summer date in 2022. The six-stage race will take place between Monday 6 – Saturday 11 June, beginning in Colchester and finishing in Oxford city centre. This year’s Tour of Britain (Sunday 4 – Sunday 11 September) will see over 100 of the world’s best riders race from Aberdeen to the Isle of Wight in what promises to be another memorable edition of this country’s flagship cycling event.
