Saturday, 1st April, sees the return of the RCR Fatcreations road race to the famous Goodwood circuit for its second year with two National B events, on each for the Men and Women.

Saturday, 1st April, sees the return of the RCR Fatcreations road race for its second year. The men’s race kicks the day off at 09:30 taking on 7 laps of the 10.7 mile circuit, starting in front of the iconic Goodwood Race course that saw the finish of the UCI World Championship Road Race in 1982. Last years event was won in style after a solo attack with almost a lap to go by Zeb Kyffen (Ribble Weldtite) followed by Jack Crook with local rider Sam Clark (TrainSharp development team) rounding off the podium.

With a change to the women’s event moving from a Reg A to match the men’s Nat B category, organiser Seb Ottley hopes it will attract some big names and teams to the event. The women’s race starts at 13:30 and will be 5 laps of the same 10.7mile circuit. Last years race came down to a tight sprint between a narrowed down bunch with Olivia Bentley (Torelli) taking the sprint from Kerry Middleton (Hutchinson-Brother UK) with Lucy Harris (Laka-Pedal Mafia RT) settling for third place.

Entries are now open on BC and close Wed 22nd March. Maximum team entry of 6 riders. Teams are advised to contact organiser Seb Ottley if they wish to submit a full team entry.
