Second win and Clarion title for Jack Levick
Clarion member Jack Levick (Rose RT) made it two from two at the weekend, when he sped to victory in the Fenland Clarion 25 mile TT on the N1/25C course on the Old A1 at Sawtry in Cambridgeshire. His 51:46 was 57 seconds shy of Michael Hutchinson’s course record but did mean he also lifted the Clarion Championship. The Tuxford rider was over 3 minutes too quick for 2nd placed Edward Calow (RAF CA), while Milton Keynes based David Glossy (Elysium Kala RT) was 3rd in 56:31.

Masters Track Champion Lindsay Clarke of the host club remains unbeaten time trials in 2023 and her 1.04.07 edged Ratae RC’s Sally Maitland into 2nd spot in the women’s race. Lisa Jackson of the nearby St Ives CC was third in 1.09.53.

Fenland Clarion took the team honours with Shane Mezzatesta 57:42, Chris Cummings 59:28 and Chris Shaw 1:02:41 combining for 2:59:51.
