Crit Result: SACA Salt Ayre Tuesday Series 8

Good numbers for both races on a lovely sunny evening at Salt Ayre Circuit. There was some good safe racing in both events with Gareth Kerr (Lakes RC) taking the overall win and 40+ group 1st place in a very tight sprint finish with Mark Laidlaw (Kendal Cycle Club) who won the 50+ category. In a separate battle behind, the 60+ riders were seeing who could hang on to the youngsters with Andy Barlow (Kent Valley RC) coming out best, to win the category, in 16th overall. The Open 2/3/4 race was a fast and aggressive race with many attacks but it was John Bardsley (Innovation Racing) and Sean Dawson (Inflite) who eventually established a good lead and sprinted to finish in that order whilst Harvey Stroh (TAAP) lead in the rest.
