Round 1 – Next event 10 Mile is Scheduled for 7th June at Snainton
Held on a lovely warm Wednesdy (24th May ) evening in almost perfect conditions our first of the year Time trial once again held at Burton Fleming. A flat (ish) five mile loop resulted in some really impressive times as there was no pacing it was all out/ flat out right from the start line with an amazing 32 Riders entered!

The route from Burton Fleming ran towards Rudstone then looping back to Grindale then to Bartindale Cross Roads back to Burton Fleming. Riders as usual departed at One minute intervals with the novice going first with the fast riders departing last. The event was won by then ever rapid Vive Le Velo supported rider Mel Blackford who has hopefully recovered from injury in 2022. Mel put in a blistering time of 11:51. Junior Rider Edward Hall from nr Hackness entered under the Clifton Club banner (time; 12;26) beating almost all the adults to take 2nd place. First woman was Fileys Rachael Pichforth with a very good time on the watch of 14:12
