300 competitors will contest the 2nd Marston Mega Cross on Sunday 18th August, a 3hr off-road race around the Marston Lodge Estate, nr Market Harborough

With outstanding support from George Halls Cycle Centre, the 3hr off-road race around the Marston Lodge Estate, nr Market Harborough will provide a fantastic natural challenge. The course consists of a mix of grass, woodland, gravel and with a variety of challenges and stunning views across the beautiful rolling countryside.

The Marston Mega Cross is where mtb meets gravel, meets cross.

Following last year’s inaugural event Natasha Reedy, Team Empella and James Swadling, Pedal Power Loughborough return to defend their Marston Mega Cross 2023 titles. 2023 Pairs Champion Roy Chamberlain is this year joined by local rider Michael Burke, they will face a strong challenge from Tom Scott-Collins / James Hyde, Kieran Jarvis/ Max Avery, Will Gell/Jonathon Shearsby. Expect Team Novo Nordisk Development riders Josh Brown/ Matthew Wilson to also feature.

Female pair Hollie Jones / Megan Bettles is also looking to repeat their 2023 success. Challengers will be Katy Simcock / Lynne Coldray. Mixed pair Maddie Gammons / Dan Slack, Brother UK On Form will be strong contenders in the mixed category.

The start list in both the solo and pairs features former World & European Champions, Regional Champions. The beauty of the Mega Cross concept is that the course allows for experienced off-road riders and the complete newbie who just wants to beat the course.
