NEWS: FENSHAM HOWES MAS DESIGN 2025 TEAM LAUNCH

Fensham Howes MAS Design have launched their squad for 2025 at the Scott Sports UK HQ. The team, including three returning riders and three new signings, will take on a packed calendar of the biggest races across the UK and Europe this year.
With a strong line up of returning riders, including, Max Hinds, Luca Bednerek and Harrison Dainty, the team isn’t short of options for any race. To further bolster the squad, the 2024 Youth National Champion, Leon Atkins will join the squad along with Youth Individual Pursuit champion Henry Hobbs and rising star Seth Jackson.
Team manager, Giles Pidcock, said: “We’ve got a talented line-up of riders this year and a fantastic race programme for them to hone their skills and ultimately win some races! We’ve seen 17 riders move on to Under 23 teams, with many of those progressing to the World Tour. We’re fortunate this year to again have the backing of some great sponsors and technical partners allowing the team to race and train to their highest level, and ultimately secure that next stepping stone towards a professional contract.”
Ed Clancy OBE, said: “I’m a huge believer in the transformative power of sport for young athletes, and it’s great to see Fensham Howes MAS Design continue to provide a platform for developing the next generation of British Cycling talent. With a strong mix of experienced riders and exciting new signings for 2025, I’m looking forward to seeing them race on the biggest stages this year. As a proud ambassador of CAMS, it’s fantastic to see their support for the team once again, as they share my belief in both supporting the sport and protecting cyclists on our roads.”
Neil Beardsmore, J’s Cycles Finance Director, said: “We’re super proud to continue our support for the Fensham Howes MAS Design team. In the three years that we have been a part of this project we have seen several riders move on to promising U23 careers and Matthew Brennan moving up to the World Tour with Visma Lease a Bike and getting on to the podium of his first World Tour race!.”
Tony Fawcett, Scott Sports UK Marketing Manager, said: “We jumped at the chance to support the next generation of cyclists with Fensham Howes MAS Design. They have a proven track record of developing talented riders and helping them reach their goals of making it to the World Tour winning some of the biggest races. This fits perfectly with our ethos of innovation, technology and design.”
With former riders including Tom Pidcock, Matthew Brenan and Sam Watson now racing at World Tour level, the team has a proven track record of developing talent ready for the under-23 level and beyond. For 2025, the team will be racing aboard the Scott Foil RC 10. The bikes will be maintained to the highest standards by J’s Cycles thanks to their long standing partnership with Scott. Scott will also provide Cadence helmets for the team ensuring they have the best possible kit at their disposal.
The teams first race for the team in 2025 on the continent is Junior Kuurne Brussels Kuurne which will see the team race against some of the best junior talent in the world. Sponsors for 2025 include: Fensham Howes, MAS Design Consultants, CAMS, Bio Racer, Scott, Dry Mango, Leeford Motors, J’s Cycles
