This year’s edition of the West Lothian Grand Prix on 6th April has secured a prize pot of £500 to be split equally between the Open and female elite races.

This year’s edition of the West Lothian Grand Prix on 6th April has secured a prize pot of £500 to be split equally between the Open and female elite races. The day of races takes place at the West Lothian Cycle Circuit closed road venue in Linlithgow, Scotland and incorporates the second round of the Scottish Youth Circuit Series.

Organiser Matthew Ball says “I’d love to attract a full field of top class riders, so I’m grateful to Brookfield Metal Recycling coming on board as podium sponsor for the Open and Female E/1/2/3 races, It’s a mega prize pot for a closed road crit and the biggest we’ve offered for a bike race at the circuit”

“First prize for the two races will be whopping £175 each, which isn’t bad for a 1 hour blast around the circuit! So this is a call out to Uk wide riders to enter and make it an exciting day of racing”
