EVENTS: ILKLEY TOWN CENTRE RACES – CALL FOR ENTRIES!! — Cyclists across the UK are being urged to secure their place in one of the country’s most exhilarating town centre racing events – the Ilkley Cycle Races, returning on Friday, July 4th. With entries closing this Friday (June 13th), now is the time to act!

Organised by Ilkley Cycling Club and supported by local sponsors, the Ilkley Cycle Races promise fast-paced, closed-road circuit racing through the heart of this scenic Yorkshire town. The evening will feature races for juniors, masters, category 2,3,4 men & women, and elite men & women, with a vibrant atmosphere and cheering crowds lining the iconic start & finish straight on The Grove.

“This is a special race for riders and spectators alike,” says Race Director Martin Peace, “Whether you’re an experienced racer or a talented junior looking to test yourself on a national stage, Ilkley offers a thrilling and well-supported platform.”

Highlights include:
• National-level competition attracting top talent from across the UK.
• Closed-road circuit with a challenging and technical course.
• Supportive crowds creating a Tour de France-style buzz.
• Prizes and prestige, including a top-of-the-line Garmin watch for the winner of the Lister Horsfall Grand Prix.
